Healing
The wavelength for tissue with a blood supply. Drives cellular energy, calms inflammation, and helps muscle recover.
980 nm
Pain
Absorbed more by water. Strong on pain. Useful in denser, less vascular tissue where you want analgesia.
1064 nm · the extra
Deep
The deep one. Scatters less and is grabbed less by pigment, so it reaches joint and disc-level tissue. Most Class 4s still stop at 810 and 980. This is the extra.
